Spring meet
« on: March 09, 2014, 04:03:48 PM »
So, if everything works out. I will be lowering my bug the thursday, friday before Spring meet. Do we want to do a cruise back from there and meet and have dinner somewhere? Anyone else planning on heading down?

So although PNW Springmeet has not updated their web site since last year, it looks like the event is happening on Sunday, April 27.  At the moment I am scheduled to work that day, but I will try to arrange a shift trade.  I went to a *lot* of shows last year, and Spring Meet was one of my favorites.

Cheers,

Randy

Although I didn't get out of the swap area last year, the idea of an indoor (or at least covered) event in the PNW is good. I sure miss the Springmeet and Oktobugfest held at the Puyallup Fairgrounds years ago. I have April 27th circled on my calendar too.

Actually, everyone knows that Saturday jobs are better than Sunday jobs. . . ;)

Sunday April 27th, 11AM
Bellevue Community College parking garage.
Entry $10 p/person
Swap spot $10

IMHO if you're there by 11am, you're about 1;5 hours LATE. . .  All the good stuff in the swap will be gone by then. 8)

I'm pre-registered for the show. So I'll be taking my bug. I would be more than happy to run in a convoy to the show. I can meet up at the Stanwood/Camano Island exit. I plan on being there early.

I would like to be at the car show around 8:30am.
It takes about an hour to get there from Stanwood.
Why don't ya all meet me around 7:30.
Ya all can get off the freeway and meet me at the park and ride, or I can perch myself on the side of the freeway at the on  ramp.
Then when ya all buzz by I'll start pedaling as fast as I can to catch up.

Hmm. I'm going to try to get my Sunday shift covered. This sounds like a fun event.
